We used the last standing building of Berlin wall as the location for this event. Flutgraben used to be a bus depot, a factory, and the East Berlin army headquarters.
The main hall will be used as the waiting room and the studios and hidden locations throughout this beautiful labyrith-like building will serve as the interview locations.
What is Going to Happen?
You will be invited to enter the waiting room, where you get the questionnaire at the reception. You wait, then your name will be called. An assistant will lead you to one of the rooms. You enter the door and meet your interviewer: a friend you haven’t seen for a long time, a counselor, interrogator, photographer – it could be anyone. It’s a proposition to explore the social codes of behavior, transcend communication patterns, exchange experience. You then come back to the waiting room, which becomes the focal space of the event where the influences merge and the rules are suspended.
